About
Camille Avant is a board-certified labor and employment specialist—a distinction held by less than 1% of licensed Texas attorneys—committed to providing counsel to businesses, corporations, physicians, executives, and employees. She has experience defending both corporate and individual clients before state and federal courts, arbitration tribunals, and administrative agencies, including the EEOC, DOL, and TWC. Camille represents and advises employers and employees in all aspects of employment, labor, business, and commercial litigation, including but not limited to:
- Covenants not to compete and not to solicit
- Trade secret and confidentiality disputes
- Breach of fiduciary duty
- Tortious interference
- Business disputes
- Breach of employment contracts and other agreements
- Discrimination and harassment
- Wrongful termination and retaliation
- Severance negotiations
- Wage and hour cases
Camille also drafts and reviews employment and contractor agreements, physician contracts,
severance agreements, employee handbooks, harassment policies, and non-compete and non-
solicit provisions. She advises and counsels corporate clients on employment matters including harassment training, internal investigations, disability and other accommodations, and general employment practices, and is experienced in forensic collection,
preservation, inspection, and remediation.
Camille is ardent about her clients. She takes strong positions and leverages those positions to
maximize results, and while she negotiates first, she won’t hesitate to do what’s needed to achieve her client’s goals.
